More weekend adventures with the hubby, and this time, we finally got the chance to check out the Venice Canals. I've really only seen it in the movies and it's even more amazing in person - I urge anyone visiting LA to go and see them.  It's like a mini Italian hideaway tucked away next to the mid-century modern style of Venice Beach!  The houses and gardens were amazing, so perfectly unique and quaint, it's no wonder these are million dollar homes.  It was a Sunny Sunday so we couldn't have asked for better weather and sunlight.  

I really do love Venice!  I love the charm, the eccentricity, but overall just the aesthetic of all the homes nestled in these cute neighborhoods - and who can forget the cool boutiques and restaurants lined up on Abbot Kinney (see previous post here).  Make the trip - and call me when you do :)

I couldn't get enough of the great homes lining the canals - just beautiful architecture with charming gardens, porches, and walkways - it's no wonder they film so many movies here.  Everything is just picturesque!
