This blog has always been and always will be dedicated to what I'm inspired by - and friends and family are definitely at the top of that list!  So starts the summer shenanigans - this blog started last summer documenting my "Live, Work, Play" lifestyle including fun festivities with friends and it all starts here with the Aspen Glen Casa and Swim Club launch (aka Jillster's house - but it's just so much more fun this way).  To kick off, we celebrated my hubby @singingchicken and good friend @warfrank's May birthdays in a Cinco de Mayo themed get together.

Nothing rounds out a Cinco de Mayo celebration like some Mexican Cokes (my fave!), tamales, pico de gallo, tacos, and more - many many thanks to all my best buds for bringing all the food!  All in all, the party was filled with some major amigo silliness, some night swimming (jumping in fully clothed!), and quality time that's priceless.

Just to give you some background to the picture above - if you know me at all, I have this signature peace sign pose in almost EVERY picture known to man (and woman), so we thought we'd invent something silly.  Whether or not this is gonna stick is another quandary all on its own, but it is funny to look at :) hashtag stoopscalator.

I know this isn't the end for the Aspen Glen Casa and Swim Club - stay tuned :)  Oh, and here was the official invite I created especially for the event (inspired by another fave - the Ace Hotel and Swim Club).
