It's summertime so that means another trip to one of my LA faves - The Getty! There's something so magical about this space - the lively greens, the way the sky is a piercing blue because you're up so high along the coastal valley, and the awesome photos you get at every angle.  The latest feature was the Herb Ritts LA Style exhibit - I had no idea how influential he was until this visit - you have to see it to understand.  His photographic black and white angle on fashion and LA style is beyond beautiful.  Go check it out!

The hubby and I paid a visit last December (see post here) and the leaves were just starting to fall, the air was crisp, and we were a bit more bundled up than in these photos here.  We took some of our best friends out and the weather couldn't be more perfect - sundresses and sneaks on with cameras in tow (just take a look at my friend Drea here snapping up some candids along the way - uh...and her amazing YSL bag! *swoon).

And of course no Getty trip would be complete without a little ice cream treat afterwards!  We stopped by the new Sprinkles Ice Cream shop in Beverly Hills and it is by far, the CUTEST ice cream shop in town right now.  Make sure to pay them a visit!  Here's what I got: Coffee ice cream in a sugar cone topped with their infamous sprinkles - yummy right?!  They also have delicious red velvet cones, cupcake ice cream sandwiches, and so much more!
