hello new york!

I recently took a little trip with the hubby to one of my favorite cities - New York!  The last time I was there was the dead of Winter so it was a complete 180 braving the humid, 100+ degree tornado weather Summer that we encountered.  The charm was not lost on us however (it never is when we're there) - so we put on our comfy shoes and toured the city.  Here are some of my favorite shots!

Seriously one of the cutest places ever!  The line at the Shake Shack is ridiculous, but the people watching is always amazing, and when you finally get there.... you can enjoy a delectable burger, fries, chocolate shake, and more :)

central park in the summertime

One of my absolute favorite places to visit and relax is Central Park.  Watching people soak up the sun on the grass, the kids running through the park, finding hidden entryways and nooks, and just being in the center of nature all while surrounded by a bustling city is pretty cool if I do say so myself (another fun spot is the High Line - the perfect marriage of Park and City).

Just some shopping at Opening Ceremony (where I mostly dream and window shop) hahaha.  I do however LOVE all of their kitschy souvenirs and trinkets (because if you know me well, you know I LOVE my knick knackery and collecting cute and happy things).
