Another year means another birthday - and if you know me well, you know how much I LOVE this time of year!  So I decided to get together with some of my closest friends and family to embark on another year of Sunny Side of Gray and a fun ferry ride across the harbor.

As of late, I've been obsessed with all things nautical - the idea of sailing the open ocean, channeling Audrey Hepburn in a cute striped boat top, and the feeling of fresh air and water through a sunny days' breeze.  I whipped up these fun playful flags for an SSOG Lifestyle Photoshoot with Raechel Denise Photography (more on that to come...see a sneak peek on my Facebook page here) so I thought it would be exciting to bring these on board.

The weather couldn't have been more perfect - it's finally starting to cool down a bit in San Diego - and thus the end of Summer and the start of Fall is near :)  There were so many fun outfits and details like polka dots, bows, and more present at my birthday celebration, I couldn't help but snap up a few photos!

The ferry from San Diego to Coronado is a quick scenic hop and a skip away but the views of the harbor are picturesque.  If you're traveling here, I definitely recommend it!  Another fun way to experience Coronado is by bicycle - so rent a couple of those with friends and you can cruise along the pacific.

The trip ended at Coronado Brewing Company - an old nod to the historic islander roots of Coronado - delicious hometown quality in good company.
