I've always admired designers and artists' eye for cool bookcase designs and how they curate their homes with cool books that look like pieces of art. The Selby, one of my fave sites, delves into talented and quirky artists' homes and designers' libraries to see just how they've showcased their collection of fine print. One day, I'll have a wall bay all to myself - but for now, I can just oooh and ahhh over these displays.

Kyoichi Tsuzuki's masterpiece collection!

I also love how everyone adds an element of their own personality into their display, whether it be trinkets from travels all of the world, pictures of family or friends, or a beautifully adorned lampshade, it somehow all works.

love all the details, love the chair, love the lamp, love everything

a worldly library escape

vintage feel and old polaroids

The best part is the pop of color that books add to a room, the text, the fonts, the textures of the paper and bindings. Ahhhh, one can only dream.
